A leading portrait
painter at age 87 publicly proclaimed at a social gathering that he was
determined to live up to 150 years old. He was in excellent health, had
a happy outlook and was completely contented with life. Mutual friends
requested that palmist-consultant to assess the artist's life expectancy.
Without reading the palms, he gave the old man up to 120 years based on
an educated assumption. After detailed study on the palms the subject
was told that he would not live beyond the age 93. Also he would die of
an accidental injury. The grand old man took the news in jovial spirit
and replied that he did not believe the information.
On 9/12/82 his death was announced in the press. He had died after a fall.
Age at death was reported at 94 years old. Since he was born on 6/8/1890,
at the time of his death he was in fact 92 years 4 months. This is a documented
on-record life/death accurate predicted.
