Robert Pwee believes in success without any violations
of the rights of others. He embarked on a dual career in the study
of palmistry and as a life insurance agent. At age twenty-two, he
entered the Life Insurance Business. He was promoted to Agency Organiser
at age twenty-three and the following year as Agency Supervisor.
Robert Pwee attributes his present success to likes
of author Napoleon Hill, whose first book "How to Sell Your
Way Through Life", he read, admired and applied. By the age
of twenty-nine, his career advanced considerably, and he now heads
his own District, Robert Pwee District and Robert Pwee Pte. Ltd.
Robert Pwee intends to be a Free-Man and to maintain
his Economic, Financial, Religious, Social and Political Successes
and Happiness without violating the rights of others. A life member
of the Dale Carnegie organization and a fellow of the British Society
Of Commerce, Robert Pwee holds further membership in the Singapore
Insurance Agents Association, in the Singapore Institute of Management,
in the Life Underwriter Association of Singapore, in the Life Underwriter
Sales Executive Board, in the British Institute of Management, in
the Australian Institute of Management, and in the Administrative
Management Society of America. He is engaged in the public service
on many fronts, with membership in the Rotary Club of Singapore
North, of which he was Charter President for 1982-83 and President
for 1983-84, awarded Certificate of Appreciation from District 330
for 1982-83 and 1983-84, and was awarded - Rotary Foundation District
330 - Service Award 1983-84; the Rotary Club of Singapore East,
where, before the formation of the Northern Chapter, he had been
Youth Director, Vocational Director and Club Director, the Singapore
Scout Association - Tanglin District, of which he has been Chairman,
Vice-President, and is currently a Life Member, the Citizen Consultative
Committee for the Thomson Constituency since 1978; and the Singapore
Sports Council. He was made an honorary member of the Singapore
Buddhayana Organization in 1983 and was appointed Vice-Chairman
for the Kampong San Teng Community Centre of the Thomson Constituency,
as well.
He is further listed in the Dictionary of International
Biography, Who's Who of Intellectuals, International Leader in Achievement,
World Biographical Hall of Fame, International Book of Honour, Community
Leaders of World, and Grand Ambassador of Achievement International.
He has also been awarded the Diploma of Distinction (IBC Cambridge),
Diploma of Distinguished Leadership Award, and Honorary Membership
to IBC, and ABI.
Robert Pwee explains the key to his success in life
- the reason for it and why a person must enjoy what he does:
